  A competition with Zayed Bin Sultan school to write stories in English
  
• AL Nokhba Printing Press
  An in-school on going competition to find out the good writers of the school
  
• Spelling Bee
  For young writers

Reading:

• Reading Stars
  A competition with Al Ebdaa School & the british Council with a trip to London as a reward
  
• Reading Programmes
  All School Grades have extra reading programmes
  
  • Grades 1-3 read stages 1,2,3,4,5 from the Oxford Reading Scheme
    
  • Grade 4 read The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl
    
  • Grade 5 read Charlie and the chocolate factory by Roald Dahl too
